Word of the day:
“A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” – Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is our comfort. We can find happiness and joy on other factors for a while, but only God guarantees eternal happiness. Let’s find our portion of happiness in God’s mighty arms. He provides, guides, instructs, leads, and preserves us in all our ways. He shows love in a very special way. His provision exceeds far beyond our expectations, for our way of thinking is limited to our rational well-being and our emotions are so strong that our judgments are blinded by it. Let’s make God our standard of righteousness, and let’s continue to walk in the path of the righteous.
God has no business walking with the unrighteous.
He encourages us to walk in the light, and when we start our journey, then we will see the magnificent God we are serving. It’s true that God shows compassion to both righteous and wicked. However, when God bring down judgment on mankind, may we be found in glorious fellowship with Him, not in agonizing pain of suffering. Let’s continue to walk in the beauty of His holiness. He brings back the joy of our salvation. He preserves us til we see Him again.
Isn’t it fair to give our very best to our Maker?
