Word of the day:
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.” – Isaiah 35:1-2 NIV
Ever wondered why there are some points in our lives that we are experiencing drought? Mostly because of our disobedience. As in the previous chapter in Isaiah (chapter 34) where God brought His judgment to the nations. After that dreadful period, God is raising up His people in abundance and prosperity. Sometimes, we are into the “wilderness experience” not because we’re living in sins, but it’s God’s way of displaying His might and love for us. Moreover, our hearts are most likely be exposed under pressure.
God is a God of impossibility. And His majestic works will be displayed in very special ways, far beyond human comprehension and understanding. He can turn our dry land into a valley of gardens. He can overflow water on the rock, He can even give hope to the hopeless, understanding to the simple, and ignite the fire of a prayerful heart. We have to trust Him in every ways. We are called to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Let’s submit our spirit in Him. Let’s walk in righteousness, ‘til our seed of faith grow in our hearts, bursting into bloom. When people are beginning to be blessed through us, then we are displaying the fruits of our faith. Let’s grow through process. It’s never been easy, but it’s worth.
The key to survive in this dying generation is to live for the glory of God. God bless you.
