Rejoice in the Lord Always!

Word of the day:

“[Final Exhortations] Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 NIV

In the sense of a word, rejoicing is leaping with joy, smiling with our heart’s content, and thanking God for what He’d done in our lives. We can undoubtedly define rejoicing through thanksgiving for all the favors and blessings we’d just received. It’s a positive attitude that leads us into rejoicing for all the blessings and protections. But little that we know that as we grow day by day, we have to realize that there’s much more  than we are behaving, God is expecting something more for us. And what is that? That’s the attitude of rejoicing ALWAYS.

It’s never been easy to rejoice when you’re grieving. Man, that’s the last thing you want to do! But we will, because rejoicing in God does not only convincing you that something good is going to happen after this particular adversary. We rejoice because we have the living God! And doing so, we are refocusing ourselves to what track we have to walk in. Is there anyone need encouragement, encourage his heart to the Lord. Is there anyone need strength? Be strong in the Lord. For everything that is happening is for the glory of God. It’s hard to believe at times, because our emotions are deceiving. We tend to believe on what we feel, but faith is more than a feeling. It’s a principle. It’s holding on to what we believe in when the rest of the world ceased believing.

I remember in a saying that “faith is like a bird flying in abreak of dawn knowing that in few hours, the ray of sunlight will greet him in the morning.”

That’s what faith is. We have to trust on our living God. That’s what separates us from the rest of the world.

Rejoice! Let’s carry our own cross. Sometimes, God is breaking our hearts not because he want to hurt you, but because you have something inside of you that is not aligned in God’s divine plans for you. Allow God to search your heart. If there’s a time to surrender everything to God, then now is the time.

Few people are rejoicing in the midst of their sufferings. I am one of them. Are you one of us?

God bless you!
