Choosing God

Word of the day:

“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.” – Isaiah 43:11-12 NIV

It takes to commit wholeheartedly for us to be consistent in everything we do. God, in His sovereignty, expects the same. When we say that we believe in God, it’s not just a word of a mouth for us to have a vain assurance that when we die, we gonna be saved. When we say we believe, we have to actually believe in God.

Faith is more than believing God. It’s about trusting Him that everything is in His hands. And we have to trust Him in every area of our lives. That’s the commitment God wants us to have. God can’t deal with us if we only allowing Him to control a part of our lives. That’s not His ways. He wants to rule over us, to guide and guard us.

Whenever we are in the crossroad of our lives, let’s choose God. We may be enticed with the world and all the world has to offer. We may even be deceived by our own beliefs and understanding, but when it comes to deciding, let the God factor play its part. Let’s keep on praying, fasting, trusting on our Lord. It’s not just the comfort and assurance that we’re not alone on this, but it’s the realization that we made the best decision by allowing Him to take His part.

After all, it’s not all about us. It’s all about Him. The moment we cast our cares and burdens on Him, and focusing on mandate He wants us to accomplish here, then we gonna experience His love in a supernatural way. God is supernatural, we better believe it.

Whenever you feel things are happening not what they supposed to, we got to choose God over any other alternatives. Have we trusted on Him, we’re being saved from the troubles we are into, and we’re growing deeper in love with Him. It’s not the devil that is mostly responsible why we’re in chaos and troubles. Sometimes, it’s self-inflicted. We choose our own wicked ways, and then we’re blaming the devil. Let’s face it. Choose God over our own personal ways, for His ways are greater than our ways.

God bless you!
